Scion of Lewisville Sponsors Kixpo 2009

Scion of Lewisville is pleased to announce their support of Kixpo 2009 as the official sponsor of the three day event. 

Rene’ Isip, Dealer Principal, of Scion of Lewisville said, “Kixpo and Scion are all about personalization and customization.  With the similarities involved in customizing cars and sneakers--we saw the connection immediately and are proud to be associated with the event.” 

Scion of Lewisville sells the full line-up of Scion automobiles including the Scion tC, Scion xB and the fuel-sipping Scion xD. 

“The timing for the event couldn’t be better.  The event kicks off on Friday the 24th, the same day that the Cash for Guzzlers program goes into full effect,” said Steve DeWitt, General Manager of the Dealership.  “We’re ready to help those people that are looking to trade in their old clunker for a fuel-efficient Scion xB, tC or xD with rebates of up to $4,500.”

The 2009 Kixpo runs through Sunday, July 26th.  Activities include various vendors, spectators and customers buying, selling, and trading sneakers and other merchandise.  Sneaker collectors will display and sell items from their personal collections including rare sneakers, hard-to-find exclusives and sneakers yet to be released to the public. 

Artists will also have customized sneakers on display and for sale.  The event is available to all ages and free to the general public.  Beverages will be available at the bar and refreshments will be provided to all sponsors/vendors.  There will be entertainment such as a DJ, guest speakers, live sneaker customizations, raffles, giveaways, contests and break dance exhibitions.
